The Holy Mass was presided over by His Excellency Most Reverend Monsignor Marcello Bartolucci, Archbishop and Secretary Emeritus of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, who led the assembly in a moment of profound spirituality and thanksgiving.

The First “Yes” from Three Continents
The Congregation of the Daughters of Saint Mary of Leuca welcomed with exultant hearts three new sisters who pronounced their first “yes” to the Lord, committing themselves to live the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. The young nuns come from different parts of the world, testifying to the Institute’s universal vocation:
• Sr. Allegra: from Mexico, brings with her the cultural richness and fervent faith of her country.
• Sr. Angelica and Sr. Marialuica: both from Vietnam, represent the growth and vitality of faith in Asia.

In his homily, Bishop Bartolucci emphasized the importance of this radical life choice, inviting the newly professed nuns to be “lights of Christ” in their future missions, embracing with courage and humility the call to serve the Church and those most in need.

Renewed Fidelity
The celebration was also enriched by the gesture of faith of three sisters who chose to renew their temporary vows: Sr. Luisa, Sr. Brigida, and Sr. Teresa. Their renewed promise testifies to their perseverance in their vocation and their continued commitment to following the example of their Foundress, Blessed Elisa Martinez.

At the conclusion of the celebration, an atmosphere of celebration and fraternity enveloped the Generalate. The presence of fellow nuns, family, and friends made the day an unforgettable occasion, strengthening the bonds that unite the great spiritual family of the Daughters of Saint Mary ofLeuca.
The Congregation extends its prayers of gratitude and blessing for the journey undertaken by these six sisters, entrusting them to the protection of Our Lady of Leuca, so that their lives may be an abundant fruit of charity and mission.
